10 Companies That Let You Teach English Online Without a Degree

Ever since I created my first spreadsheet, 5 Companies That Let You Teach English Without a degree, I noticed that people kept coming up with questions that were unanswered by the sheet itself. And while I’m happy to have provided so much information in a quick, simple format, it wasn’t enough. Looking back on some of my previous spreadsheets, I think that this one is offering a great deal of improvement. In this spreadsheet, I’ll be showing you ten companies that will hire you without a degree, but with the inclusion of additional information such as which accents are acceptable, which nationalities they accept, and of course, the pay rates. Without further ado, let’s jump into the spreadsheet. Pretty huge, I know! As always, application links are below the spreadsheet!

Do I need a TESOL certificate?

By no means do you absolutely need a TESOL certification to teach English online, but most companies either require it, or prefer it, especially for non-native speakers. In addition to having more qualifications, which will improve your chances of being hired, it’s a good idea to have the educational background that the TESOL provides. You will gain a lot of knowledge about how to teach English as a foreign language if you invest the time into learning from a quality TESOL course or equivalent, and this knowledge will improve your own experience, as well as the experience of your learners. I personally recommend the 120-hour TESOL course which is offered through International Open Academy. You can use my affiliate link below, or click the image to enroll in their course for only $19.00!
